Ralph Wayne Findley's Obituary
Ralph "Wayne" Findley, 71, of Rixeyville, VA passed away on February 17, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Wayne was born on August 31, 1952 in Fort George Meade, MD.
Wayne finished High School in Bel Air, MD and served in the US Army between 1971-1974. He moved to Florida where he worked in sales until retiring from Pinnacle Sales Group. He moved to Virginia in 2010.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his friends and family and always had a story and many jokes. He will be tremendously missed.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Leigh Nottingham Findley; his stepchildren, Cody and Carrie Ragan; grandchildren, Grant, Audrey and Eleanor; Davis, Devin, Carter and Caden Wood; his brother, Ron Findley (Susan); seven nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bailey; cats, Joey, Lulu and Sophie.
He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Alice Findley.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Death Ridge Brewery, 5255 Higher Ground Trail, Jeffersonton, VA. 22724.
