Ralph Louis Brown Sr.'s Obituary
Ralph L. Brown Sr., 81, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at his home with all his loved ones by his side. He was born on July 10, 1941 in Brown Mountain, VA to the late Russell and Georgia Brown.
Ralph was a master Jeweler and Watchmaker for over 55 years, he was known as an Icon in Culpeper and the surrounding counties. He was a super pro racecar driver, competing in the low six-second ET bracket, and a regular on the super gas circuit. He loved classic cars and enjoyed collecting them, especially his 1951 Ford that he did a total body restoration on.
He was an avid fire arms and knives collector, an avid golfer, and collector of golf clubs. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycle riding.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Brown, and Russell Brown Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Brown; children, Juanita (Chris), Ralph (Sandi) Brown Jr.; siblings, Judy Pew, Ricky Brown; and granddaughter, Amber (Trever).
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 6-9 PM at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper, VA 22701. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Johnny Dollinger officiating.
