Rachel Lee Moyers' Obituary
Rachel L. Moyers, 82, of Culpeper died on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born September 21, 1925 in Nelson, VA to the late Albert Lee Cash and Littie Rae Bradley.
Mrs. Moyers loved the outdoors and working on her farm. She enjoyed walking and going to church.
She is survived by five children, Doris Lotts of Middlebrook, VA, Linda Armstrong of Locust Grove, VA, Clyde Moyers of Lexington, VA, Timmy Moyers of Culpeper, VA, and Carrie Moyers of Etlan, VA, her brothers, Ralph “Buddy” Cash, Raymond “Jimmie” Cash, and Reginald Cash all of Steels Tavern, VA, one sister, Shirley Wolfe of Covington, VA, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Moyers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lee Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa.
