Purview James Dillard's Obituary
Purview James Dillard, 66, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at his home.
Purview served in the U.S. Navy and was a dump truck driver for B.W.P. Hauling.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ruth Dillard; two children, Purview J. Dillard Jr. and Cassandra G. Dillard, both of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren, Victor J. Dillard, Kaleb W. Dillard and Dale J. Dillard; two sisters, Barbara Cutshall of Stafford County and Frances R. Jordan of Woodford; two brothers, Damon Keith Dillard and his wife, Pat, of Minnesota and Dana Gene Dillard and his wife, Sandy Carr, of Fredericksburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Purview was preceded in death by his parents, Purview and Frances Dillard; and a sister, Crystal Darlene Rohme.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
