Polly Anna Dennis' Obituary
Polly Anna Dennis, 95, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, June 13, 2022 at Culpeper Health and Rehab. She was born September 6, 1926 in Rappahannock County to the late John and Mary Kilby.
Polly was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and planting flowers.
She is survived by four children, Russell Lee Kilby (Susie), Marcia Dennis Bilal (Aqeel), Carolyn Dennis Greene (Richard), and Jacqueline Dennis Banks (Eliza); one sister, Irene Timbers; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Taylor and Olive Graves; eleven grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 9 great, great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her son, Clifford Mark Dennis, Jr.; ex-husband, Clifford Mark Dennis, Sr.; one sister, Mildred Timbers; and four brothers, Charles, Wilson, Willie, and John Kilby.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Church, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Howard Frye officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 15 Red Oak Mt Rd, Woodville, VA 22749.
