Phyllis Ann Ward's Obituary
Phyllis Ann Ward, 76, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at her home in Stafford, VA.
She was born July 13, 1947 in Alexandria, VA to the late Floyd and Pearl (Valentine) Craft.
Phyllis loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, whom she called “her Angel”. She enjoyed watching football, basketball, and baseball games; as well as game shows. Phyllis worked in the Administration field for more than 30 years for SWL, Inc., GRC International, and AT&T.
She is survived by her son, Derek Avery-Craft and wife, Denise; grandson, Ryan Avery-Craft; great grandson, Dominic Avery-Craft; life partner of more than 40 years, LeRoy Foster; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Father Scott Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg, VA.
