Phyllis Rexroad
Phyllis Rexroad, 81, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1927 in West Virginia. Phyllis was a homemaker and went to school to be a nurse.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Mahoney and her husband, John of Elmira, New York; three sons, Steven Waterholter and his wife, Veronica of Spotsylvania, Freddy Waterholter and his wife, Angie of Elmira, New York and Jerry Collins and his wife, Cathy Hamlin of Spotsylvania; a sister, Charlotte Sparks; two brothers, Bill Stinson and Frankie Johnson; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her children’s father, Fred Waterholter, her husband, John Rexroad and a son, David Waterholter.
Phyllis’ family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2:30 pm at Ely’s Ford Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
