Phyllis Neff's Obituary
Phyllis Ann Neff, 56, of Fairfax, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Fairfax Hospital.
Phyllis was involved with Girl Scouting for many years where she enriched many lives as a troop leader. During her 31-year career at Safeway, she organized many fundraisers for Easter Seals, and was a member of Fairfax United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Neff; a daughter, Jodie Craft and her son-in-law John and two grandchildren Hailey and Sarah; her mother, Pauline Davis; five sisters, Paulette Harris, Mamie Gilbert-Hokamp, Charlotte Phelps, Renee Davis and Colleen Vermillion; a brother, Terry Davis; her father, Charles Strunk, and her two beloved dogs, Bowser and Maggie.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 7, 2008 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 12:00 pm at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jack Sawyer officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Quantico National Cemetery.
She touched the lives of her family, friends, and many others and she will be in our hearts forever.
