Philip Andrew Owens Sr.'s Obituary
Philip Andrew Owens, Sr., 72, of Partlow, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Culpeper Health & Rehab Center.
Philip retired from Shell Oil Corp as a hazmat driver after 23 years. He enjoyed tinkering around the garage, spending time with his grandchildren and his Chihuahua, Hope.
Philip is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Rae Owens; his children, Laura Hewitt and her husband, Robert and Philip (Andy) Owens, Jr. and his wife, Charity, all of Spotsylvania County; five grandchildren, Shane, Robert, Tamara, Stephan and Taylor; two great grandchildren, C.J. and Seth; two sisters, Betty Shanklin of Winchester and Margaret Anderson of West Virginia; two brothers, Fred Fisher of Fairfax and Dave Fisher of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11:00am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Bette Goglia officiating.
