Philip Lee Kuhn's Obituary
Philip Lee Kuhn, 67, of Washington, Virginia, died Monday, October 3, 2016 in Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia following a long illness.
Philip was born April 10, 1949 in Charleston, West Virginia, a son of the late Clayburn Calvert Kuhn, Sr. and Adra Virginia Hall Kuhn.
Philip was raised in the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hall, at Rose Hill Farm in Washington. He attended school in Washington and was a Christian and member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
Philip is survived by his brother, Clayburn Calvert “Buck” Kuhn, Jr. and wife, Ginger of Chugiak, Alaska; sister, Beverly Kuhn Blackshire and husband, Gene of Charleston; and extended family and friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and special thanks of appreciation to Rev. Jennings Hobson, III of Amissville, Virginia for his many years of faithful services, deeds of kindness, compassion, friendship, and loving care for Philip.
There will be no public funeral service or visitation. A private graveside service will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in South Charleston, West Virginia with the Rev. Jennings Hobson, III officiating.
