Win was a very close friend and an incredibly good person. We met at Lynchburg College and got together quite a few times after we graduated. Win would call about every 6 months or so just to check in and see how we were doing.

Win would do anything to help a friend and seemed to keep his head up through good times and bad. He could find humor in any situation. I can't remember a single time when I saw Win mad.

This was an awful shock and he will be sorely missed. May God bless you and your family Win.

Win was a wonderful man to work with. All of us at Grand Home Furnishings got to spend many hours working beside him.
He always treated customers with courtesy and had impeccable Southern manners.
Winfree would sometimes make us laugh with his stories of other jobs he had had.
He had a great smile and a good sense of humor. Godspeed, Win. You will be missed.

This is a shock to me
Win was a good man we spent 4 years at Lynchburg College
I lost a good friend but have great memories
I hope that he didn't suffer during his ordeal
