Peter Gillson
Peter R. Gillson, Sr., 69, of King George County, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Gillson retired from the US Government after 36 years as a safety specialist at the Pentagon.
Peter was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the late Raymond and Hettie Gillson.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, LouAnne Gillson; one son, Peter R. Gillson, Jr.; one brother, Sidney Gillson and his wife, Leanne from Gallup, New Mexico; two nieces, Laura McKown from Passadena, California and Lisa Brown from Lupton, Arizona; and one nephew, Karl Gillson from Gallup, New Mexico. He will be sorely missed by his dog, Aspen and his other pets.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Family Cemetery 7234 Passapatanzy Drive, King George, Virginia 22485, with Rev. Bette Goglia officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericksburg SPCA, 1523 Olde William Street Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
