Peter Anthony Lepore's Obituary
Peter Anthony Lepore, 74, of Culpeper died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born January 22, 1937 in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph P. and Mary Pollard Lepore.
Mr. Lepore was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of Culpeper Community Church. He was an accomplished drummer and a sales manager for many reputable companies.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Monika N. Lepore, four children, Christina Lepore of Culpeper, Deona Gravatt and her husband, Charles of Richmond, Jennifer Turner and her husband, Tony of Gordonsville and Pete Lepore, II and his wife, Jessica of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include his siblings, Carl Lepore of PA, Margaret “Dolly” Lepore of NJ and James Lepore of NJ, and seven grandchildren, Kiersten, Michael, Jessica, Holly, Jenna, Julia and Anthony.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph “Bud” Lepore.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Albritton officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper American Legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2524.
