I knew him and grace from the fop lodge and the american legion. i moved to florida and went back and spent 2 to 3 mnth every year with him and grace, he was father that i never had. when we sit down for supper he ws say the prayer and always said now all of my family is at home and i always felt that i was home there.

Percy was a man of honor and integrity. He was someone you could turn to for advice and he would always give you an honest answer. He was a loving person who loved his country and his family. He will be deeply missed but I have no doubt that Percy is with our Lord and Savior and this is not goodbye but rather until we meet again at the Pearly Gates of Heaven. Rest in Peace.

I wish to express my deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family. I will always have fond memories of Percy as a deputy for Spotsylvania County and friend. He always so nice and took time to talk and share a laugh whenever we see each other over the years. He was a great man!
