Peggy Virginia Hatfield's Obituary
Peggy Virginia Hatfield, 96, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Warrenton, VA. She was born August 19, 1927 in Berryville, VA to the late John Thomas and Anna Lacy Russell.
Peggy is survived by her children, Sherry Dawn Arant (Randy) and Jay Spencer Hatfield; one step-son, Robert Lunberg (Donna); six grandchildren, Paul Brown, Amanda Campbell (Ian), John Guy (Luna), Shawn Hatfield (Dagney), Savannah Hatfield, and Chase Hatfield (Hannah); nine great-grandchildren, Colin Campbell, Olivia Campbell, Dillon Campbell, Owen Brown, Axel Guy, Delilah Brown, Oakleigh Hatfield, Charlotte Hatfield, and Ace Guy; and one sister-in-law, Lee Russell.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Spencer Hatfield, Jr.; one son-in-law, Tom Guy; two sisters, Dorothy Snyder and Anne Ellis; and three brothers, George Russell, Donald Russell, and John Thomas Russell, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Keith Boyette officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
