Pedro Rivera's Obituary
Pedro Rivera, 65, of Charlottesville, VA passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at The Laurels of Charlottesville. He was born July 12, 1959 to Carmen Luz Rosado Hernandez and the late Lucas Rivera Cintron in Puerto Rico.
Pedro is survived by his mother, Carmen Luz Rosado Hernandez; siblings, Edwin Rivera and wife, Jessenia Alvarado of Ceiba, Puerto Rico, Wanda Fielding and husband, H. Scott Fielding of Palmyra, VA, Gisela Rivera and husband, Angel Pizarro of Humacao, Puerto Rico, Lucas Rivera and wife, Sylvia Flores of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, David Rivera of Bronx, New York, Josue Rivera and wife, Lizzie Nales of Dupont, Washington, and Xenia Marrero and husband, Eric Garcia of Augusta, Florida; children, Christopher Rivera of Bronx, New York, Pedro Rivera, Jr. of Waterford, Connecticut, and Noemi Lynn Rivera of Waterford, Connecticut; a grandchild, Zariah Love Sullano of Waterford, Connecticut.
In addition to his father, Pedro is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Faustino Rosado; maternal grandmother, Clara Hernandez; paternal grandfather, Pedro Rivera; paternal grandmother, Inocencia Cintron; and his aunt, Gladys Cruz.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Harvest Church of God, 1025 Rio Rd, Suite C, Charlottesville, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA with Military Honors provided by VFW Post 2524.
