Pearl Himes' Obituary
Pearl Ruth Himes, 91, of Falmouth died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Woodmont Health Care Center.
Pearl was a devoted lifelong care giver of her family.
She is survived by her son, Vernon Wayne Himes and his wife, Ginger of Falmouth; a step-grandson, Brandon Johnson of San Diego, CA; numerous nieces and nephews which include her twin nieces, Joyce Staples of Stafford County and Janice Wondree of Spotsylvania County whom she raised from birth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Charlotte Searles and her husband, Vernon Nathan Himes.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Pastor Louis Wondree officiating.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, PO Box 5056, Falmouth, VA 22403.
