Pearl Cool's Obituary
Pearl Irene Cool, 94, of Manassas passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Holland, New York to the late Charles and Mary Preston.
Ms. Cool retired from Arlington County Social Services Department in 1976.
Pearl is survived by a son, Paul Cool and his wife, Peggy of Manassas; a daughter, Kay Cool Polen and her husband, Pete of Manassas; three brothers, Stuart Preston and his wife, Joann of Florida, Clark Preston of Rome, New York and Harrison Preston of Utica; five grandchildren, Wade Blankenship and his wife, Denise of Manassas, Daniel Blankenship and his wife, Wendy of Front Royal, Mark Cook and his wife, Jackie of Quinton, Alicia Tingen and her husband, Mike of Manassas and Scott Polen and his wife, Laurie of Manassas; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pearl's family will receive friends Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas. Her funeral service will be held Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8006 Centreville Rd. Manassas, with Dr. Rodney Autry officiating. Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens.
Pearl's pallbearers will be Wade Blankenship, Daniel Blankenship, Mark Cool, Paul Math, Todd Math, Rick Hillman and Scott Polen.
