Pauline A. Minier's Obituary
Pauline A. Minier, 96, of Culpeper, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at The Culpeper Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 11, 1926 in Pennsylvania to the late Alexander and Anastasia Demchak.
Pauline was a devout Catholic. She was the oldest member at Precious Blood Catholic Church where she served on the Altar Society and Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was very involved with the church and a very spiritual woman. She took pride in gathering donations at Precious Blood Catholic Church for the Food Closet at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Pauline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #330 in Culpeper. She was dedicated to selling poppies on National Poppy Day. Pauline was an avid bingo player, loved to cook, and was very giving to her family. She was the perfect example of a family matriarch, caring for her children while her husband was working with the U.S. Government and State Department which allowed the whole family to live in Greece, Jordan, Iran, Peru, and Cypress. In later years she shared that love of caring with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family pets.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J. Lester (Tommy); grandchildren, Nicole J. Keys (Earl) and Andrew Lester (Paulina); and great grandchildren; Joseph, Coral, Jonathan, and Nicholas.
In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frederick Minier; son Frederick Richard Minier; grandson, Barrett A. Jones; siblings, Helen, Mary, Julie, and Peter; and sister in law, Alice.
