Pauline Hawkins Grigsby's Obituary
Pauline Hawkins Grigsby, 74, of Culpeper died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was born August 16, 1940 in Rappahannock to the late James and Elizabeth Corbin Hawkins.
She is survived by five children, Patricia A. Compton and her husband, Wayne of Rappahannock, Hugh P. Grigsby Jr. of Rappahannock, Judy Jenkins and her husband, Ronnie of Culpeper, Hugh L. Grigsby of Culpeper and Carolyn M. Scott of Culpeper, and four siblings, Mary Knisley, Shirley Hitt, Lois Alther and her husband, Joe and Charlie Hawkins and his wife, Betty.
Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Melissa Tapp and her husband, Kevin of Culpeper, Kenneth R. Scott, Jr. and his fiancé, Jami Towne of Rapidan, Michael Boggs of Ohio, Kayla R. Scott of Culpeper, Brandon Grigsby and his fiancé, Amber Holt of Culpeper and Brittany Boggs of Culpeper; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Josephine Picket, Billy Hawkins and James Hawkins, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. L.D. Savage officiating.
Interment will follow in Grigsby Family Cemetery.
