Paulette J. Mercier's Obituary
Paulette J. Mercier, born June 30, 1944 in Sherbrook, Quebec went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, after many health complications.
At the age of three, her parents, brother and she moved to Vermont. In 2007, she moved to Virginia to live with her brother and his wife.
Paulette was always happy and fun-loving and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved to go shopping, travel and attend family gatherings. She looked forward every year to spending the winter months in Fort Myers, Florida. She had many friends there and kept quite busy and loved to play Bingo!
While living in Vermont, she attended Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Albans and after moving to Virginia, attended Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper.
Her parents, Robert J. and Marie A Mercier predeceased. She leaves behind her brother and his wife, Dennis G and Sheri L. Mercier. She also leaves behind her beloved nephew, Dennis R. Mercier of Vermont, her beloved nieces, Carol McMullin of Texas, Linda Frazier of Florida and Paula Beebe of Vermont. Her extended family, niece Karie Peterson of Pennsylvania and her nephew Christopher Mack of Vermont, plus twelve great-nieces and nephews, along with many aunts and uncles.
Arrangements will be made by Brady & Levesque Funeral Home at 82 So Main Street, St. Albans, VT. The viewing will be on Friday, April 29th from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 30th at 11am at the Holy Angels Church, Lake Street, St. Albans, VT, with graveside service immediately following.
