Paul Benton Morgan's Obituary
Paul Benton Morgan, 81, of Culpeper, passed away on November 3, 2025. He was born September 13, 1944, to the late Rev. Mack and Georgie Morgan.
Paul was always ready with a funny story or a one-liner; most of which we repeat from time to time. Deep down, Paul was a kind soul who could make your belly laugh or make you as mad as a hornet. His smile could light up the world, even when he swore, he wasn’t in the mood to smile at all. Behind the jokes and the grumbles was a heart of gold.
Paul is survived by his son, Wayne Morgan; nieces, Cheryl Romine and Ronda Martin (Steve); close friend, Stan Martin; siblings, Fred Morgan (April), Ernest Morgan, Drucilla Nichols (Kenny), Patricia Ruffner, Velma Nicholson, Curtis Morgan (Dee Dee) and Becky Moyers (Timmie); and many other nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his loving sister, Freda Louise Morgan; sister-in-law’s, Martha Morgan and Linda Morgan.
Paul fought the fight, kept the faith, won the race and has graduated to a heavenly place. He is at peace and is no longer lonely. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Rest in peace Uncle Paul "cookie monster", we love you.
