Paul Daniel Jett's Obituary
Paul Daniel Jett, 86, of Stafford County passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Hughes Home.
The angels are rejoicing as he will be with the love of his life. Paul was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and Patawomeck Indian Tribe. He helped establish White Oak Fire Department in 1970, which he served as Chief for 17 years and became a life member.
Paul owned Jett’s Dental Lab and was a member of the National Dental Association of Virginia. After his retirement, he repaired small engines for friends and family in the community. He loved going to their river place at Coles Point. He chased the turkeys and caught fish. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his garden and was a long-time relic hunter.
Paul is survived by his children, Paula Schenemann (Mushy), and Daniel N. Jett (Pam); grandchildren, Joshua Jett, Jackson Schenemann, and Hailey Jett; and his siblings, Margaret Morgan and Earl Jett.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Caroline “Callie” Jett; his parents; and siblings, Charles Jett, Anna Johnson, Mary Rose, Palma Blom, John T. Jett, Jr., Roy, Thomas, and Edith Jett.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the White Oak Fire Department, with food, fellowship and sharing memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to White Oak Fire Department, 12 Newton Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
