Paul Lawrence Celello's Obituary
Paul Lawrence Celello, 66, of Rixeyville died Friday, June 3, 2011 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born October 7, 1944 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Paul Joseph Celello and Gina Gregorini Celello.
Mr. Celello was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and loved being home and with his family. He had a knack for fixing things and craftsmanship.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ellen Margaret Celello, a son, Paul M. Celello and his fiancé, Linda Howard, of Boston, and two daughters, Maria Fay and her husband, Larry, of Boston, and Christy Celello and her companion, Sean Evans of Culpeper. Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Matt and Megan Wince and Taylor Fay. He is also survived by two sisters, Beverly Santucci of Wallington, Connecticut and Jean Celello of Hamden, Connecticut, a mother-in-law, Mary M. Glass of Rixeyville, a nephew, Steve Santucci, and two nieces, Jodi and Gina Santucci.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia. PLEASE DRESS CASUAL IN HIS MEMORY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 2524 and American Legion Post 330.
Pallbearers will be Paul Celello, Matt Wince, Larry Fay, Sean Evans, Donald Robinson and Brian Wortman.
