Paul Peter Bachi's Obituary
Paul Peter Bachi, 101, of Woodville passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1912 in Manhattan, NY to the late Joseph and Judith Bacigalupi.
Mr. Bachi is survived by his wife, Desolina “Daisy” Bachi; his children, Thomas Bachi and his wife, Josie of Phoenixville, PA, Joan Beattie and her husband, Robert of Woodville, Anne Bachi of Woodbridge, Claire Medrano and her husband, John of Woodbridge, Mary van L. Maas and her husband, Alex of Springfield and Edward Bachi of Emmitsburg, MD.
Additional survivors include two siblings, Frances Brady and her husband, Tom of Delaware and George Bachi and his wife, Beatrix of Brooklyn, NY; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Veronica Farinaro and her husband, Daniel; and one brother, Anthony Bachi and his wife, Lena.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 11 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA 22747 with Father Grinnell and Father Pokorsky officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Sperryville Fire & Rescue, PO Box 233, Sperryville, VA 22740.
