Patsy Ann Woodward Dennis' Obituary
Patsy Ann Woodward Dennis, 73, of Culpeper died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1941 in Rappahannock to the late Arthur W. and Rose Scott Woodward.
Mrs. Dennis was a member of Oak Shade United Methodist Church in Rixeyville. She enjoyed helping others and living life to its fullest. Above all, she enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by two children, Stephanie D. Dennis-Bowers of Charlottesville and Richard C. Dennis, II and his wife, Bernadette of Stanardsville; one brother, Thomas Woodward; grandchildren, Richard L. Bowers, II and his wife, Heather W. of Culpeper and Elisa Maurice of Stanardsville; great grandchildren, Joseph G. Bowers, Emma L. Walden and a baby sister expected in June; along with a multitude of loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard C. Dennis; and three siblings, Tasker Woodward, Jean Sisk, Jamie Woodward.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015. The family will receive friends at 12 noon followed by a service at 1 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
