Patsy Landrum's Obituary
Mrs. Patsy (Pat) Ruth Landrum, 77, of Spotsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2010 at her home.
Patsy was born on September 5, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mary E. and William Harvey Able.
She drove a school bus for Spotsylvania County for over 30 years. Patsy was a member of Craigs Baptist Church. She loved to travel with her friends, win at bingo, enjoyed music and crocheting.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Robyn R. Chewning of Spotsylvania; two grandchildren, Kimberly D. Sullivan and Sabrina R. Carpenter; a great granddaughter, Deborah R. Carpenter; a brother, Wayne Able and his wife Carol; a sister-in-law, Helen Able; two nephews, Roger Able and Bobby Able, Jr.; four nieces, Susie Able, Charlotte Hall, Darla Briggs, and Debbie Patterson.
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family.
Besides her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Bob Landrum and a brother, Bill Landrum.
Patsy’s family will receive friends on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. A funeral celebrating Patsy’s life will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Craigs Baptist Church, 14123 W. Catharpin Road, Spotsylvania, VA at 2:00 PM with the Rev. John Swain officiating. The pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
