Patsy Adkins Ashworth's Obituary
Patsy Adkins Ashworth, 75, of Nokesville passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at George Washington Hospital. She was born November 25, 1938 in Danville, VA to the late Samuel and Freda Clark Adkins.
Mrs. Ashworth was a member of Nokesville United Methodist Church and a board member of the Pastor Parish Relations and board of trustees. The International Sorority Sisters of Beta Sigma Phi with 38 years of perfect attendance. She is survived by her husband, Richard Lewis Ashworth; two daughters, Jan Treague and her husband, Royce of Warrenton and Wendy Wiebe and her husband, Sheldon of Orange; one brother, Ronald Adkins of Danville, VA; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
The family will hold a memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Nokesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in her name to the Nokesville United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 12550 Aden Rd., Nokesville, VA 20181.
