I don't have a fondest memory of Patti. That's because they are all priceless. She loved everyone she came in contact with. Even though I moved so far away, we always kept in touch. I will miss her, and I continue to pray for her family.
One of my fondest memories of Patti. I had just found out my father had passed away. I called Ed (my boss) to let him know I wouldn't be into work for a week. A few minutes later Patti called me. She wanted to be sure I wasn't alone. She offered to come all the way out to my house (quite a distance at that time) to be with me. I will never forget that. It meant the world to me that she cared so much and was willing to go out of her way for me in my time of need.
Today,12/23/2013, we buried Patti at the National Cemetery in Culpeper. We had her funeral service on 12/21/2013 at our church. It was a celebration of Patti's life. There were many memories shared. She was a kind and loving person who extended her hand in friendship to all she met. She was Christ like in everything she did. She loved the simple things: the deer grazing in the field, the corn growing in the farmers fields. She loved going to the lake in the evenings and sharing a simple dinner with me. We had 43 wonderful years together. I know that she in God's hands and waiting for the time when I leave this mortal existence to carry on our life for Time and Eternity. I will go to our temple and do what is necessary to make this possible. I loved my wife with all my heart and will miss her existence with me here on this earth. I love you Patti White.
Really saddened to hear about Patti's passing. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and was a very fun person and friend to know. Though I'm thankful she is relieved from her struggle with her illnesses, as I knew this was such a deep trial for her, my heart is sad that she won't be here now and will be sorely missed. God be with you Patti, till we meet again. May the Comforter wrap around you Ed, your daughter Wendy, and your entire family. I know she loved and cared for you all very much. Your family is in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ed and Wendy today as they say good-by to their wife and mother. Patti was a dear friend and she will be missed! She always had a smile and something nice to say when I visited her. May the Lord keep her in the palm of His hand until we see her again.
Patti was such a loyal and loving friend, firm in her faith and fierce in defending her loved ones. Ed, I know how much she loved (and continues to love) you. I'm glad she's free of pain and discomfort but so very sorry she had to leave you so soon. Deepest condolences to you, Wendy and family. Her bright eyes, smile and laugh will be sorely missed.

This is to honor my sister and laws passing. We both had our differences over the years. But not in any ways that would stop the love I had for her. We will miss the e mails and phone calls from Pattie.Over the years we managed to find a lot of information about our ancestry. Now she has all the answers we couldn't find. She will be greatly missed by Me and Miss Maggie.
