Patricia Ann Foster Jenkins' Obituary
Patricia Ann Foster Jenkins, 81, of Washington, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 9, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 28, 1940, in Flint Hill, VA to the late George and Louise Burke Foster.
Patricia was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Patricia loved her family and was the family matriarch that watched over everyone especially her husband, children, siblings, and grandchildren. Patricia worked for the Rappahannock County Public Schools for 37.5 years in the cafeteria at the Rappahannock County Elementary School, serving as the cafeteria manager. During her years at the school, she served thousands of children their meals and ensured that no child went hungry even if it meant taking the money out of her own pocket. She had many passions in life first was her family, but she loved cooking, gardening, canning, raising all types of livestock, country music and most of all she loved having a conversation with a friend or making a new friend.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ennis Jenkins Jr, children; Nancy Crawford (Opie), Gary Jenkins, and Keith Jenkins (Amanda), one sister; Dorothy Foster Browning, three brothers George Elbert Foster Jr., James Gabriel Foster, and Bobby Allen Foster (Donna). Patricia is also survived by her grandchildren; Charles Ray Crawford, Elizabeth Crawford, Brandon Lee Jenkins, Gary Jenkins Jr., Hanna Jenkins, Heath Jenkins, Zachary Rivenbark, Bailey Powell, and Walker Powell, one great grandchild; Ruby Patricia Rivenbark. Additional survivors are her brother-in-law, Junior Jenkins, nieces, nephews, and many other family and beloved friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Louise Jenkins, and her brother, Donald Eugene Foster.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 6 pm until 8 pm at
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jon Heddleston officiating. The family would like to invite those unable to attend to join the service via livestream at

Pallbearers will be Gary Jenkins Jr., Charles Ray Crawford, Walker Powell, Wayne Pullen, Jimmy Deal, Jonas Jenkins Jr., Ellis Jack Jenkins.

Interment will follow in Flint Hill Cemetery, 651 Zachary Taylor Highway, Flint Hill, VA 22627.
