Patricia Ann Hawkins' Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Ann Hawkins, 80, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at her home. She was born February 14, 1944 in Baltimore, MD to the late David Ephrian and Margaret Elizabeth Yowell.
Pat and her husband, George, were inseparable, true soulmates. She opened her home to everyone, including strangers and the surrounding wildlife. She could always be found in the kitchen cooking, and her food was always requested for all occasions.
She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Lynn Hawkins; two grandchildren, Brandon Lee Grigsby and Brittany Marie Hawkins; and four great-grandchildren, Zoe Grigsby, Bronsten Grigsby, Bradley Grigsby, and Kyler William Grigsby.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George William Hawkins; her son, Thomas William Hawkins; and five siblings, David Eugene Yowell, Ellen Marie Smith, Otis Kyle Yowell, Edward Marshall Yowell, and Robert Joseph Yowell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
