Patricia Lynn Gallagher's Obituary
On July 29, 2019, our dearly beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Patricia Lynn Gallagher, died, resting in the arms of Jesus, while undergoing care at Sibley Memorial Hospital, in Washington D.C. Patti was born March 16, 1953, in Patchague, Long Island, NY to the late Peter and Edith Cochrane O’Neill.
Patti enjoyed writing and began her journalism career at the Asbury Park Press, in Neptune, New Jersey. Later, she enjoyed many years as the teller, and head teller, at Wachovia Bank in Point Pleasant, NJ. In 2006, she and her husband moved to Culpeper. Her experience later provided a spring board to launch her own Private Investigator business, contracting with many security companies to include AtRisk International. Patti was a creative soul and enjoyed spending her time painting, sewing, reading, and cooking. She kept her Christian faith close to her heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John, and her two sons and daughters-in-law – Jeffrey (Nikki) and Brian (Heather) Gallagher, and seven grandchildren; Peter, John (Jack), Liam, Laura, and Teddy Gallagher, and Evan and Olivia Gallagher.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Roger McNamara officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
