Patricia Jean Corbin's Obituary
Patricia "Patsy" Jean Corbin passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 80.
She was born on May 1, 1933 in Rising Sun, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Carroll and Clara Hewitt.
Mrs. Corbin joyfully served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 69 years and was a current member of the South Stafford Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Her life was devoted to glorifying the Word of Jehovah God, our Grand Creator, and her passion was preaching and teaching the good news of His Kingdom to all whom she met. She loved learning about all of God's wonderful creations and looked forward to the time when God's promise of living forever in a perfect paradise would be fulfilled. Over the years of her faithful service, Mrs. Corbin assisted many in cultivating a close, personal relationship with Jehovah God and will always be remembered as a zealous evangelizer.
Mrs. Corbin loved spending time with her family and dear friends and found great joy vacationing with family in Bethany Beach and working in her flower gardens as she marveled at the beauty of God's creations.
She is survived by her son, Billy Corbin of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Deanna Eder of Charleston, W. VA; a grandson, Kyle Corbin of Camp Pendleton, CA; a granddaughter, Lindsay Eder of Charleston, W. VA; a great-grandson, Ryder Hearld of Charleston, W. VA; her sisters, Shirley Gallahan and Mary Dolores Bowie of Fredericksburg, and Betty Cheatham of Chattanooga, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Corbin; four brothers, Clinton, Phillip, Robert and William Hewitt; and two sisters, Mildred Green and Gertrude Leach.
