Patricia Ann Carroll's Obituary
Patricia Ann Carroll, 71, formerly of Warrenton died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Retreat Hospital in Richmond.
Patricia was born August 24, 1939 in Sabetha, Kansas to the late Junius McCowan and the late Margie Mendenhall.
Patricia lived a quiet and simple life, having loved to garden and observe the birds in the Mill Run area of Warrenton where she was a lifelong resident. She recently took up painting and enjoyed using watercolors to place her memories onto canvas.
Patricia is survived by her three children, Ron Carroll and his wife Tina of Jeffersonton, Dana Woodward and her husband N.J. of Catlett and Chris Engle and her husband Rich of Powhatan. She is also survived by her three sisters, Margie Barton of Sun City, Arizona, Anita Fritz of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Linda Zold of Issaquah, Washington.
In addition to her parents Patricia is preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Kenneth Ray Carroll.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Culpeper National Cemetery on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2 p.m.
