Karen always had a way of keeping everyone connected! She would share stories of family, her love for her children and grandchildren, dreams of more days on the beach, her recommendation for February cruises, Larry's expertise on our latest home project, and especially guidance on FCPS grant procedures and arranging professional development travel!:) I was fortunate to "interrupt" Karen and Larry sharing many Chick-fil-a lunches at the school! Their love for and dedication to each other has always been an inspiration. Karen's infectious laugh and wise words and actions to support all of us will be missed.

I worked with Karen quite a long time. We became very good friends. She was always there for anyone that needed anything. I will miss her immensely. I see alit of her in allison. The family has so many wonderful memories to hold close to their hearts. Love you all. Valerie Morgan

I saw Karen at a track meet the day after a crazy driver in my lane drove me off of Tacketts Mill Rd. She looked at me with deep concern in her eyes as she asked me if we were ok. I remember feeling like she cared deeply about me and my families well-being. We couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more patient neighbor even when kids, chickens, and goats crossed through her well manicured lawn jumping in the pool, or digging up her beautiful flowers. Karen will be deeply missed by our family.
