Pamela Anne Kieffer's Obituary
Pamela Anne Aten Kieffer, 88, of Woodstock, VA died Friday, August 20, 2021 at her home. She was born September 29, 1932 in Towanda, PA to the late Norman and Ida Mae Aten.
Pamela loved quilting and was a member of both Madison Quilting Guild and Culpeper Quilting Guild. She was also a master gardener and member of Shenandoah Garden Club of Woodstock. Pamela volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Culpeper County Library, and was also a member of VFW Post 2524 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing mahjong and surprisingly found a group in Woodstock that shared the love of the game.
Pamela is survived by her children, Anna Lisa Brown (Howard) and David Kieffer (Pam), and one grandchild, A.J. Kieffer.
In addition to her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilson Kieffer, her siblings, Mercedes Thompson (James), Norman “Bud” Aten, Jr. (Bud), and Jack Aten (Janie).
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
Inurnment will be private at Culpeper National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Pamela’s honor to Wreaths Across America c/o VFW Post 2524, 12210 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
The family will also have a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Woodstock Brewhouse, 123 East Court Street, Woodstock, VA 22664 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
