Palmer Vandenburg LaGrange Jr.'s Obituary
Palmer V. LaGrange, Jr., 82, of Caroline County passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Bowling Green Healthcare Center.
Palmer was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Lillian and Palmer LaGrange, Sr. He served in the Navel reserves from 1950-1958.
Palmer was a computer programmer, and was quick witted with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed bowling and gardening and was a diehard Washington Redskins fan.
Palmer is survived by five children, Patty Berry and her husband, Ken, and Liz Sanders and her husband, Don, all of Stafford County; Jim LaGrange and his wife, Tricia, of Dumfries; Margaret Fore and her husband, Edgar of Fredericksburg; John LaGrange and his wife, Jennifer of Chester; 14 grandchildren, Patti, Karen, Kenny, Wayne, Becca, Wendy, David, Gabriella, Libby, Jeremiah, Matthew, Alyssa, Nathan, and Delaney; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen Plaag of Connecticut; one sister-in-law, Judith LaGrange of Dumfries; and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
