Osie Alva Smith's Obituary
Osie Alva Smith, 93, of Culpeper died Monday, July 31, 2006 at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 12, 1912 in Welch, WV to the late James Samuel and Betty Brewster Mullins.
She was a member of the Richlands Presbyterian Church and the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by one son, Harold Smith and his wife, Doris of Richmond, two daughter-in-laws, Mary Smith of Stafford and Barbara Smith of Cleveland, OH, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvin Smith, two sons, Harry R. Smith and Ronnie Smith, and three brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 4, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Smith Family Cemetery on Smithridge in Tazewell County, VA with Pastor Jerry Casey officiating.
