Ollie Hawkins Fincham's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ollie Hawkins Fincham, who peacefully left us on June 2, 2026, at the age of 95. She was born on November 26, 1930, in Culpeper, Virginia, and lived a life full of love and kindness.
Ollie was the heart of her home and family. She was married for nearly 67 years to her loving husband, Billy L. Fincham, who preceded her in death.
She dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a pillar of strength to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and baking (her red velvet cake was legendary), watching The Hallmark channel movies, bird watching, and answering questions correctly before TV game show contestants responded.
Ollie’s warmth, laughter, and unconditional love filled the lives of all who knew her with joy.
Ollie was a devoted parent, beloved grandmother, cherished great-grandmother, and adoring great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters; Faye Shaw and her husband, Lester of Amissville, Virginia, and Jacqueline Campbell and her partner, Anthony Tyree, of Amherst, Virginia. She leaves behind her grandchildren; Alethea Lindauer and husband, Kevin Wilmouth, John Campbell and wife, Marland, Suzanne Rains, and Morgan Jackson and husband, Eli; seven great-grandchildren, Keefer Lindauer and wife, Delaney, Sophia Lindauer, Levi Lindauer, Luke Lindauer, Tegan Campbell, Riley Campbell, and Zane Rains; and one great-great-grandchild, Keefer Lindauer, II.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Fincham and Timothy Fincham, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Campbell.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Spring Oaks Senior Living for their love, compassion, and kindness shown to Ollie and her family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Hosub Sung officiating.
A private visitation for family members will be held one hour prior to the graveside service at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
