Norman Lee MIdkiff's Obituary
Norman Lee Midkiff, 76 of Fredericksburg, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Medical College of Virginia.
Norman is survived by his three daughters; Karen Hock and husband David of King George, Beth McBride, III and Husband Gregg of Spotsylvania, Nancy Coleman and husband Billy of Woodford; ten grandchildren, Chelsea Sachno, III and husband Roman of Charlottesville, Catherine Winyard, Jr. and husband David Charles of Richmond, Courtny McBride of Fredericksburg, Andrew Coleman, Christopher Coleman, William Coleman, Camden Coleman, Benjamin Coleman, Caroline Coleman all of Woodford, Gregg McBride IV of Spotsylvania; three great-grandchildren, Chloe and Emily Sachno of Charlottesville and William Cole Winyard of Richmond.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jean Midkiff.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Staples officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in his name to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Rd., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.
