Noreen E. Caddy's Obituary
Noreen Caddy, 80, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away Tuesday night, March 18, 2025 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Gilberton, PA on March 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence Parker Deitzel.
Noreen was a graduate of the former Mahanoy City High School, Class of 1963, and was employed as a childcare worker for many years. She enjoyed her retirement in Davenport, FL with her beloved husband Thomas before returning back to Virginia in 2015.
She was a woman of many words and always brought joy to those around her. She will be missed tremendously.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, passing in 2016; brothers, Edward, Wayne and James Deitzel; and a sister, Ruth Snyder.
Noreen is survived by her son, Thomas; her grandchildren from Christiansburg, VA; nieces and nephews, Michael (Nadia) Caddy, of Falls Church, VA, Tracey Mekosh, of Willis, TX, Kelly Barnes, Noreen (Bryan) Slotcavage, and Jill (Mike) Zimmerman, all of Ashland, PA, and David Snyder, of Lebanon, PA; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces.
