Nora Jean Corsaro's Obituary
Nora Jean Corsaro, 85, of Remington died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Medical Center. She was born October 31, 1933 in Belburn, WV, the last surviving child of 8 to the late Ira and Virginia Patton Pitsenbarger.
She is survived by five children, Barbara Barnes of Culpeper, Larry Corsaro, Jr. and his wife, Bridget of Rixeyville, Karen Scott of Fredericksburg, Cathy Cocchiaro of Culpeper, and Danny Corsaro and his wife, Rachael of Culpeper; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Corsaro, Sr.; one son, Tommy Corsaro; her eight siblings; one great grandson, Joshua Carter; and two sons-in-law, Julius Robert “Bob” Barnes and Wayne G. Scott, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Nathan Townsley officiating.
Interment will follow in Remington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
