In Loving Memory of Nina Delores Davis Graham Roman
We celebrate the life of Nina Delores Davis Graham Roman, a beloved wife, mother and friend, who left this world on July 1, 2026, Nina was the cherished daughter of Ernestine Davis and the late Joseph Davis Jr.
Nina's journey through life was marked by her kindness, dedication, and love for those around her. She possessed a deep passion for the culinary arts, which she pursued with vigor and excellence. Nina graduated with honors: cum laude from Davenport College in Merrillville, Indiana, earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Culinary Studies.
Nina proudly served her country as a member of the United States Navy, stationed at the Barbers Point base in Oahu, Hawaii. Her service to her nation was a testament to her unwavering commitment and strength.
Nina married the love of her life, Victor Roman, with whom she shared an incredible 30 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Their only daughter, Yasmine Roman, was the light of Nina's life, and she was immensely proud of the young woman Yasmine has become.
Nina's legacy is one of love, resilience who she was the eldest of her siblings whom, she leaves behind: sister, Sandra Davis ( Dallas, Texas); brother, Michael Davis, (Loretta) Minot, North Dakota; brother, Timothy Davis, (McKinney, Texas) and sister, Heather Davis ( Dallas, Texas) and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Nina's life will be held at 11:00 am on August 4, 2026 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by Nina are invited to attend honor and celebrate her life.
Though we grieve her loss, we are comforted by the beautiful memories she leaves behind and the knowledge that her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace, dear Nina. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
