Nina P. Brizzolara's Obituary
Nina Compton Palmer Brizzolara, 90, of Orange, died at Dogwood Village of Orange on Saturday, April 24, 2010. She was born in Reva, Virginia on October 5, 1919, to Clarence Compton and Vernie Bruce Compton.
Mrs. Brizzolara was a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church and loved to help family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Robert P. Brizzolara, a sister Julia Johnston as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brizzolara was preceded in death by her husbands, Cornelius Butler and Philip Palmer, and her siblings, Hilda Weaver, Robert Compton and Jack Compton.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. John Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Compton, Carl Compton, Mike Johnston, Ronald Weaver, Donald Weaver and Brian Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA, 22701.
