Nellie Lena Settle of Ruckersville, VA, passed away September 8, 2025. She was born June 16, 1940 to the late Albert William Pullen and Ollie L. Settle Pullen in Culpeper, VA
Nellie is survived by her children, Thomas Settle, Sr. and wife, Laurie, Joyce Young, Cathy Covington and fiance’, Charles Miller, and George W. Settle, Jr. and wife, Heather; Sister, Margie Minor and husband Donald; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband; George William Settle, Sr., and six brothers and sisters
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 2 p.m., Fairview Cemetery, 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, Deacon Bob Metheny will be officiating.
