Nell Tipton Durrette's Obituary
Nell T. Durrette, 79, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Saturday, Jun 18, 2022 with her family by her side.
Nell worked as a bookkeeper at the Children’s Home Society in Richmond and was V. Earl Dickerson’s personal secretary at Dickerson Lumber Supply for many years. She loved cookbooks and was a very talented artist who loved to draw. Nell was also an avid Redskins fan.
She is survived by her son, Dickie Durrette (Rebecca); her daughter, Vanessa Hosey (James); four granddaughters, Ashley, Heather, Kayla and Tori; two sisters, Patricia Roy and Betty Simon; several nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family.
There will be a Celebration of Life in her honor held at a later date.
