Nathan M Jasper's Obituary
Nathan M. Jasper, 81, of Culpeper died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1927 in Madison to the late Eleanor Dade Twyman.
Mr. Jasper was a farmer for Belle Meade Farm for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching old T.V. shows and was a hardworking man. He cared deeply for other people and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jasper, and eight children, Jimmy Jasper of Culpeper, James Jasper and his wife, Barbara of Orange, Harriet Jasper of Norfolk, Ervin Jasper of Culpeper, David Jasper and his wife, Eliza of Reva, Betty Washington and her husband Tyrone of Culpeper, Mary Jasper-Tibbs and her husband, Ricky of Culpeper, and Phyllis Jasper (Walter) of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include one sister, Josephine Payne of Madison, nine grandchildren, Stacy, Jeannette, Crystal, Angie, Mindy, Christy, Nick, Monique and Dominique, three great grandchildren, Keyaira, Jalynn and Stacey, sister-in-law, Glorine Weaver, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John Edward Dade, step-father, John Dade and two daughter-in-laws, Ethel and Mary Jasper.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 12 p.m. at Swift Ford Baptist Church in Syria with Rev. Arthur Greene officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Tibbs, Danny Jasper, Stacy Jasper, Robert Scott, Ira Smith and Dana Robinson.
