Nathaniel Ace Norton's Obituary
Nathaniel Ace Norton, died Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born August 29, 1995.
The name Nathaniel means “gift of God”, and he truly was. Nathaniel, “Nate” to those who love him, was a son of God and the son of Jennifer Cornell, Nevada Norton (Kimberly) and Frederick Bishop (Cathy). He was married to his high school sweetheart and love of his life Breanna Norton. Together they brought two beautiful boys into the world, Spencer (9) and Eli (3).
Nate will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his playful attitude. He was always smiling and joking around. He loved gaming with Spencer and cuddling with Eli. Nate loved riding dirt bikes with his brothers and best friends Dylan, Cameron, and Jared (Catie). He loved family gatherings and was always the life of the party.
In addition to those already listed, Nate is survived by his grandparents, Marilyn and Wilson Liptrap; siblings, Jacob, Nova, Bethany, Joshua, Hailey, Mia, Lucia, and Isabella; aunts, Jennifer “Fer” Liptrap, Christina McAllister, and Denise Sanchez (Leonel); cousins, Blaine Hillegass, Christian Hillegass, Cheyenne McAllister, Amber Liptrap, Douglas Ricketts, Carol Ricketts, and Bridget Ricketts; niece, Hazel Bishop; and his first baby (and the best dog ever) Snowball; amongst many others.
Nate died doing what he loved - hanging out with his brother, riding his motorcycle. We are beside ourselves as we deal with this loss, but we know we will see him again one day.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 9149 Ely’s Ford Road, Fredericksburg. A private burial will follow at Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery, with a reception following at the church.
