Natasha Robinson's Obituary
Natasha Micole Robinson was born November 11, 1981 in Lynchburg, VA. Natasha transitioned peacefully and with grace at her home in Rapidan, VA on January 2, 2014. She was the daughter of Doris Robinson and the late Curtis Harris (Lisa Miles-Harris). She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Lillian Robinson; her daughter, Jalin Micole Gilbert; and her paternal grandfather, Moses Scates.
Natasha was educated in the Rustburg Public School System in Rustburg, VA. She worked in the field of telemarketing/customer service.
She leaves to cherish her memory five children; Dreqwonz Robinson-Cook, Mackenzie, Mateo Robinson, Jamorie Nowlin of Hurt, VA and Kahlee Akins of Concord, VA; her mother, Doris Robinson of Rustburg, VA; five brothers, Curtis Robinson of Manassas, VA, Antonio, Levontie and Keysun Robinson, all of Rustburg, VA and Brandon Miles-Harris of Culpeper ; four sisters, LaKisha Pinn of Lynchburg, VA, Domunique Robinson of Rustburg, VA, Sherrika Austin of Rustburg, VA and Mallory Harris of Culpeper; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Harris of Chatham, VA and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and one life-long best friend, Katrina Adams of Lynchburg, VA.
Extended family in Culpeper, VA, stepmother, Lisa Miles-Harris; step grandmother, JoAnne Mack (David); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition the family wants to give praise and thanks to her caregivers and night watchers, Grandma JoAnne who promised to stay with her to make her feel safe for as long as she needed her and helping Tasha to understand what was happening to her. Her BIG little sister Mallory for stopping everything and taking care of her sister through her entire illness. To Brandon and Curtis you are the best two brothers anyone could ever ask for. You guys did things that were extremely hard without asking any questions; you were truly a blessing and she was so proud of both of you. To Christina White you are the best, the staff at Lynchburg Hospital, Virginia Baptist, Culpeper H.O.P.E. Center, Culpeper DSS, Beulah Baptist Church family and Hospice of the Rapidan, thank you and blessings from the entire family. Apologies if anyone was omitted.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will be private at a later date.
