Naoma Frances Stanley Meadows
Naoma Frances Stanley Meadows, age 69, of Warrenton VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital after a courageous battle with MDS, a bone marrow cancer.
Naoma was born in Pemberton, West Virginia on March 10, 1940 to Drucilla and Emmett Stanley. She was an active member of Living Faith Church in Manassas. Naoma’s faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was unending and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father and three brothers, Everett, Paul and Carroll and also three sisters, Grace, Christine and Ruth.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 51 years, Donald Eugene Meadows. Six children, Tammy Peters and husband, George Peters Sr. of Murfreesboro, TN , Donald E. Meadows Jr. of Orlando FL , Gary Meadows and wife, Rhonda of Fairview , TN , Ronald Meadows and wife, Traci of Tahlequah, OK , Cheresa Meadows-Harrity and husband, Steve of Triangle, VA and Natalie Sealock and husband, John of Catlett, VA; sister, Lois Wilbur of Columbia, SC; brother, Ross Stanley of Hephzibah, GA; twelve grandchildren, George G. Peters Jr. ,Joshua Peters, Nathan Peters, Nicole and Kayla Meadows, Conor and Tyler Meadows, Britney and Jacob Meadows, Zachary Meadows , Nicholas Harrity and Gabriel Sealock ; three great- grandchildren, Aden, Ethan Peters and Lilianne Peters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:00 am at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel.
